Intersession and Summer 2008 Library Hours

The hours for Newman Library and the service desks (Reference, Circulation/Reserve/Periodicals, and Laptop Loan Desk) change depending on whether it is during an intersession or a summer session. Please read the dates and hours carefully. During the Intersession and Summer schedules, please remember that:
- There will be a book drop box located on the 1st floor of the 25th Street building (Library building), beyond the turnstiles.
- Chat and Email Reference services are available through the Ask a Librarian page.
May 24-June 1, 2008: Intersession 2008 Schedule
Newman Libraray is CLOSED to the public EXCEPT for:
- Baruch Faculty
- Patrons who need to clear their library accounts or return equipment
- Graduating students and their families are welcome to visit the library and take pictures
For those that meet these exceptions, the library will be open May 27-May 30, 2008 (Tuesday – Friday) from 9am to 4:50pm.
June 2-June 22, 2008: Summer 2008 Schedule
- The Library is open Monday-Saturday, 7am-Midnight. (Closed on Sunday)
- Circulation, Periodicals, Reference & Reserve Desks are open Monday-Thursday, 9am-8:50pm; Friday, 9am-4:50pm, and Saturday, 10am-4:50pm
- Laptop loan desk is open Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-8:30pm; Friday, 9am-4:50pm, and Saturday, 10am-4:30pm
June 23-August 14, 2008: Summer 2008 Schedule
- The Library is open Monday-Thursday, 7am-Midnight. (Closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Circulation, Periodicals, Reference & Reserve Desks are open Monday-Thursday, 9am-8:50pm (Closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Laptop loan desk is open Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-8:30pm; (Closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
August 15-August 26, 2008: Intersession 2008 Schedule
From August 17-August 24, Newman Libraray is CLOSED to the public EXCEPT for:
- Baruch Faculty
- Patrons who need to clear their library accounts or return equipment
For those that meet these exceptions, the library will be open August 17-August 24 from 9am to 4:50pm.
***August 25 and 26, the library is open to all, 9am to 4:50pm.***
