ICPSR Direct

Posted by lrath on November 2, 2006

ICPSR Direct maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for supporting quantitative research, primarily secondary analysis. Holdings in the ICPSR Archive encompass a range of academic disciplines, including political science, sociology, demography, history, economics, international relations, gerontology, public health, criminal justice, and education. The data are available in a collection of machine-readable data files including the relevant documentation to be downloaded to the desktop for analysis (for use with statistical software, such as SAS, SPSS, and Stata).

This database also provides a bibliography of publications that others have published  based on a certain data set and links to online reports, when available. To access these bibliographies, select the “related literature” link.
