Newspapers in Factiva Database

Do you want convenient, online access to today’s or recent New York Times and Wall Street Journal? Would you like to read or scan the paper by section (front page, arts & leisure, and etc.)? Then use the library database called Factiva.

  • After connecting to Factiva via the library’s website, click on the News Pages tab in the green toolbar on the top of the page

  • Factiva’s “newstand” will be on the right side of the screen. You can read the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Newsweek, Business Week, Barron’s, Forbes, and Fortune.
  • Factiva NYT
  • You can access the past two weeks of the NYT and WSJ in Factiva’s News Pages.
  • To access earlier issues of the NYT or WSJ, other newpapers, or for other search capabilities, go to Factiva’s main Search page (click on Search in the green toolbar)
  • Factiva is a full-text database that provides global news, business, and financial information from newspapers, magazines, newswires, and trade journals. It includes information on companies and industries, SEC filings, and financial profiles
