Reuters Terminal in the Library

Posted by lrath on March 18, 2008

The Newman Library now has a Reuters terminal for student use. The terminal has the same functionality and programs as the Reuters terminals in the Subotnick Center and offers access to Reuters, TradeStation, ThomsonOne Analytics and the supporting statistical software packages.

  • If the Wasserman Trading Floor is being used for classes or seminars, come up to the reference desk on the 2nd floor of the library building to use the Reuters terminal.
  • Students can use the Reuters terminal during hours that the reference desk is staffed, from 9 am to 9 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 4:50 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Reuters is a trading platform for real-time financial information that covers the equity, fixed income, currency, money markets and commodities markets. To learn more about Reuters, sign up for a free Reuters I workshop. Advanced workshops are offered that cover Futures, Options, Foreign Exchange, Technical Analysis, and Fixed Income. You can sign up online from the Workshops page of the Library website.
