Library Extends 24 Hour Service for Mid-Terms

At the request of Undergraduate Student Government the library will be open to Baruch College students for 24 hours for a second week of mid-terms.  The library will is now open around the clock until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 27.

Library hours during mid-terms

Newman Library will be open 24 hours during mid-terms.

  • The library will be open continuously from 7:00am on March 15th through 11:59pm on March 21st.
  • Please note, only Baruch students have access after midnight.
  • Service desks (Reference, Circulation, Laptop loan desk) close earlier in the day.
  • Circulation, Periodicals, & Reserve Desk hours: Monday-Thursday, 9am-9:50pm; Friday, 9am-7:50pm; Saturday-Sunday, 10am-7:50pm
  • Laptop Loan Desk hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-9:30pm; Friday, 9:30am-4:30pm; Saturday-Sunday, 10:30am-4:30pm
  • Reference Desk hours: Monday-Thursday, 9am-8:50pm; Friday, 9am-4:50pm; Saturday-Sunday, 10am-4:50pm
  • Ask-a-Librarian (chat reference) – is always available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Mini workshops

Stop by Newman Library’s Reference Desk (2nd floor) for brief yet informative 15 minute workshops every Tuesday and Thursday at 12:45pm.

March 5th, Thursday, workshop: “Company’s Coming .. Are you prepared?” will help you with researching companies.
